The One-Day Church initiative is a response to the urgent need for church homes to house existing Seventh-day Adventist congregations. Around the world there are thousands of congregations meeting every week in a house or under a tree. The One-day Church initiative strives to meet these needs with a church building that is high quality, low cost, and quickly constructed.
The One-Day Church initiative was created and developed by businessman Garwin McNeilus. The program is a collaborative effort between the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Adventist-Laymen's Services and Industries (ASI) and Maranatha Volunteers International.
